Bill Van Alen was James Jaeger's producing partner for IF YOU CAN KEEP IT, FIAT EMPIRE, ORIGINAL INTENT, CULTURAL MARXISM, CORPORATE FASCISM, WHEN THE TRUMPET SOUNDS and TESLA - The Poet of Electricity. Bill's grandfather, Arthur Atwater Kent, Sr., founded the Atwater Kent Manufacturing Company which became the largest manufacturer of radios in the United States. The company also sponsored the popular "Atwater Kent Hour", a top-rated radio concert music program heard on NBC and CBS from 1926 to 1934. The show featured top entertainment and became one of the most popular and acclaimed regular radio programs of the era. At its peak in 1929, the company employed over 12,000 workers manufacturing nearly one million radio sets. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A._Atwater_Kent for additional details. This clip features Bill Van Alen's mother and father as well as Eugene A. Jaeger, MD (father of James Jaeger) at a fund-raiser for TREVOR'S HOUSE for the homeless. The actress, Helen Hayes, was one of the guests and speakers at the event filmed by James Jaeger around 1990.
