Fun little video of a custom Curbless, zero entry or Barrier free shower, using Schluter systems Kerdi-Line drain, Kerdi-board and other Schluter components and Ditra Heat on the main floor were used to build this master bathroom. The T-Lock tile lippage system was used to help install the 36inch by 6inch wood look plank tile on the walls and floor of this bathroom. Large format tiles have become very popular, and because of the large size lippage, which is one tile being higher than the adjacent tile, has become a growing problem. To keep tiles in the same plain, which means reduce or eliminate lippage, tile lippage systems have been developed; T-Lock is a wedge type system which does a very good job of keeping lippage under control. Schluter Kerdi-board is extruded polystyrene foam panel, with a special reinforcement material on both sides and fleece webbing it comes in thicknesses of 3/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 1", 1-1/2", and 2". It is used in conjunction with Kerdi-Band and unmodified thinset to build waterproof shower enclosures and anywhere waterproof walls are desirable. Kerdi-Line is a linear drain and is often used in conjunction with a curbless shower to allow the use of a large tile on the shower floor.
