Although night we can admire the fine medieval architecture of the city as well as the pleasant walk from the metro (U Bahn) station to the Agneshof Hotel where I was staying during my visit to the FachPack trade fair. The metropolitan area of Nuremburg has around 3.5m inhabitants. The town itself is the 14th largest in Germany, second largest in Bavaria (after Munich) and the largest in Franconia.
