Hi, here's a video showing a dead router converted to a mp3 player. My router died from a lightning storm, so instead of trashing it, I decided to use the casing for a MP3 player module. The module is fed from the original power adapter. I cut the pcb so I could use the original DC jack and power switch. The audio jacks came from a dead DVD player that I kept for parts. The router's antena is actually the FM antena. I find that it came out pretty neat!
