Welcome to Banished, perhaps the most highly anticipated strategic city building game in years.

In this inaugural episode the city of Nutjob Hills is founded. Will it last or will everyone freeze to death or die of starvation or any number of other horrible ways to die. (come to think of it, there are NO "good" ways to die are there?)

Banished is a city-building / management strategy game. You are in control of a group of exiled travelers restarting life in a new land. They have only the clothes on their backs and a cart filled with supplies from the homeland they were thrown out of. (makes me wonder if they were all that bad or if they just said bad things about the king/mayor/whatever and he/she/it just couldn't stand criticizm)
