"Mr Anupal Banerjee is known for embracing lean operating principle and smart organizational alignment strategies. It has helped him to improve people performance and productivity and drive employee engagement. He started his career with Ashok Leyland and have held leadership roles in global firms – Capgemini, WNS and Infosys. He was Sr. VP – HR at Viacom18 Media, prior to his present stint as CHRO, Tata technologies.
He has a bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering and has attained advanced HR program at Stephen M. Ross School of Business – University of Michigan." Anupal Banerjee brings close to two decades of experience and currently serves as Tata Technologies’ Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). As CHRO, Mr. Banerjee leads the company’s human resources strategy and worldwide HR activities in support of the overall business, with particular focus on organizational design and effectiveness, total rewards, learning and organizational development, talent management and acquisition and technology-led HR processes and analytics. Prior to joining Tata Technologies, Mr. Banerjee was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Viacom18 Media. He also has held leadership roles at global technology and professional services firms Capgemini, WNS and Infosys. Earlier, he worked with automotive manufacturer Ashok Leyland Ltd. Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Banerjee’s embrace of lean operating principles and smart organisational alignment strategies has helped him improve people performance and productivity and drive employee engagement.
