About the deck.
-Theme: Alchemy
-Heretic because it does not respects the standards: no standard courts, no suicide king, the jacks are women, there is the chance to get the 57th card (stretch goal in the KS campaign) and many heresies that make the campaign a bit heretic.
-Symbols: basically Alchemy has 3 main ingredients: Salt (not the kitchen salt), Sulfur and Mercury.
The Jacks hold the symbol of salt.
The Queens hold the symbol of sulfur.
The Kings hold the symbol of mercury.
The joker with the man represents the Tabula Esmeralda, a hermetic drawing and text written by Hermes Trismegistus (the first alchemist so to speak).
The joker with the woman "Flos Vitae (=flower of life in latin) shows the Metatron's Cube (Sacred Geometry) which may be derived from the Flower of Life pattern. And on the top the flower of life.
The back: symbol of the seed of life in the center.

Lux means light
Noctis means night.
The KS campaign starts with the Lux (the version you have) and as stretch goal there will be the noctis. Black tuckbox to be designed and the faces are a bit different as well. The red of diamonds and hearts is swapped with grey-blue.
