McSwarek was on the perfect slow burn in the 1st two seasons. 

This melancholy song reminds me of two of my fav angsty AU fanfics I've been reading recently: 'Can't Let Go' and 'Reluctant Acquaintances.' So I couldn't resist making some improvements to this one too. LOL, why didn't I do a better job on these the first time around?
