University of Manitoba political scientist Andrea Rounce gives her view on why people should make the effort to vote.

Rounce is participating in U2011, a series of public forums to be held throughout Manitoba in the nine months leading up to the October 4, 2011 election.  Discussion topics range from the political engagement of women, youth, and Aboriginal peoples, to the rules and regulations surrounding the electoral process.

The first event takes place on Feb. 8, 2011 at McNally Robinson Booksellers in Winnipeg.
