Half of the fish, crustaceans and mussels in our shops come from farms, and these farms are mostly not located in Europe. The strict environmental norms of the EU are a competitive disadvantage for our fish farmers, but they are hoping to turn them into a selling point through the creation of a European eco-label for aquaculture.
