Continuing suspension of transportation of royalty paid ore, High Court has set aside an order of Goa government allowing transportation of royalty paid ore post March 15. High Court in it's judgment pronounced on Friday, directed Goa government to take a decision regarding it's own ownership rights as a custodian of mineral resources and it's powers to take possession, sell and dispose of all ores including royalty paid ores within 4 weeks. 
Following the order of the Supreme Court dated 7th February, mining operations were stopped in the state of Goa on 15th March. On 21st March, Chief Secretary held a meeting with mining officials and allowed transportation and sale of those ores, for which royalty was paid by 15th March. But, now the High Court has set aside the order of the Chief Secretary dated 21st March allowing transportation and sell of royalty paid ores.
