About a week ago I was able to film the arrival of a new group of birds. I am not sure whether they are migrant or UK birds. I initially thought they were Jays, but on closer examination I realized they were a differant group. So I slowly started to film and through the camera lens I was able to look at them more closely. I filmed a lot but could not zoom to a great deal as it was in the evening and it was getting dark. In the meantime I also heard a noise of the chirping of many birds but I didnt focus my attention as I was filming only a single bird. Then he flew to another tree and then only I saw the group of birds (about 15) that was waiting for this bird. I think he was the leader of the group.. I was so surprised as when he flew away the others accompanied him. Later when I was looking at a reference book I found that he was a Waxwing..
