Papua New Guineans told to present PNG Passports at PNG-Indo Border before crossing to Indonesia

The Indonesian Immigration Authority has issued directions to stop all Papua New Guineans from entering into Indonesia, from Wutung in West Sepik, without presenting their PNG passports. This directive will be made effective on the first of November. PNG Consul General in Jayapura, Geoffrey Wiri, told EMTV News, the Indonesian government has made such decisions because of the increase in abuse by Papua New Guineans, using the Traditional Border Crossing Passes when going into Jayapura. - visit us on http//www.emtv.com.pg for more news....
