For years the term "station wagon" was verboten in Detroit. Wagons were not cool. First minivans, then SUVs and finally wagons in everything but name -- crossovers were the rage with automakers and their customers. But the much derided wagon is making a comeback. Always popular in Europe, these sensible vehicles are staring to reappear under their own name in the US.
