What if I told you I've got a story you're not going to believe. If you had one chance to define your life 3 weeks before you died could it be done? If you had to do it with one leg, could it be done? If you had to do it with a body deformed by tumors, could it be done? The answer is... yes. The limits of the human body have been rewritten.

The Danny SImkins story is probably one of the most unbelievable stories you will ever hear about. If you saw it at a theater you wouldn't believe it. It's a story about a man who was diagnosed with cancer. Lived with it for 20 years. Dominated the sport he competed in while battling cancer. Finished up his last season with a 6-month death sentence winning a championship. On the final night of racing (3-weeks before his death) his doctors call the speedway to inform them he is far too sick to show to the invitational race which brings the top drivers from all over the state. He shows up, gets his number retired in front of a teary audience, wins the trophy dash and wins the main. He passes away a few weeks later. You have never seen a story like this and you never will. It's not made for Hollywood, it happened. It changed the limits of the human body. See this clip and read his story at teamsimkins.com in the history section. You can also watch the last race and retirement even unfold in the theater. I'm currently writing a book which hopefully will be finished late 2011. If you know anyone facing cancer I advise you to send them over to read his story. UCLA doctors couldn't believe what they saw. There is nothing like it. Even Dale Earnhardt Sr. called Danny Simkins and called him his hero. An amazing story that should be heard by everyone.
