I do not own anything in this video, and is purely just a vanity/parody project I came up with in like half an hour.

I saw the Sailor Moon Crystal trailer in one of those fancam videos the first time around, and then when I watched the first episode, for some reason "Gather the Lights" from Code of Princess popped up in my head. I cut out about two cycles of frames in the part where Usagi is drifting with her eyes closed, so that's why she kind of jumps back a bit, but it was for the sake of timing with the song and I didn't think it looked too bad.

Anyway since I had to actually dig the game out myself to look them up, here are the English and Japanes Romaji lyrics for "Gather the Lights" by CHiCO!

English:
Your eyes were always true,
showing me in their reflection
always, in this wide, little world

Holding friendship and love,
though the fighting will never end,
I will accept it all and
always protect you!

Everlasting bonds shine on! Miracles
I've always kept hidden in my heart.

But you showed me it was controllable!
Glory,
no matter how far apart we are, we will be as one!
Beyond the CODE, it shall begin.
Awaken! Gather the lights forever!

Japanese Romaji:
Itsumademo kimino hitomiwa massgude
zutto watashiwo utsushite kureru
dokomademo hiroku semai sekaide

Yuujyo aijyo kakaeta
arasoiwa taenaikeredo
subetewo ukeirete donna tokidemo
kimiwo mamoruwa!

Everlasting kizuna kono te terashite! Kiseki
Tayasanaide sutto muneni shimaikonnde itakedo

Kimiga kizukasete kureta, seigyo kanouyo
Glory
Donnani tooku hanaretetemo hitotsuni naruyone!
CODE wo koehajimaru
Mezameta! Gather the lights forever!
