U.S. President Barack Obama has announced a new strategy for Afghanistan and Pakistan. After a two month review of U.S. policies toward the region, Mr. Obama said Friday, March 27, he will send more troops to Afghanistan, devote more resources to rebuilding Afghan society and put greater emphasis on regional diplomacy. He said the security of America and the world is at stake.
