We are saved by faith, right? But how did we GET to faith? And is mental assent enough? Can it have been a truly "saving faith" if there is no evidence of LOVE? Why do we keep trying to get people to have FAITH before the LOVE of God has drawn them to Himself? Are they complete with just a "decision" of faith, never having felt a real LOVE for the TRUTH?
