After staying on this treadmill for months or even years they become discouraged because they're not generating any sales from all their hard work. You should invest the same amount of time promoting your blog post as writing it otherwise no one will benefit from all the great value you are trying to provide.

Here are 3 creative ways to promote your blog post:

1. Start by writing an epic post

An epic post stands out from most other posts on the Net by the value it provides. Make readers think they'll be willing to pay for the content if it was a paid product. The main purpose of an epic post is to provide such incredible value that it automatically gets shared by others.

2. Expose your content to other media types

Besides just sharing your content on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ like everyone else is doing, why not convert your post to another media type. For example convert your post to a PDF file and submit to document sharing sites such as scribd.com, slideshare.net and ebook directories.

Another media type is video. Convert your content into a 2-3 minute video by summarizing the main points of your post just like I'm doing here in this video.

3. Create a StumbleUpon Ad
