Today was my first day of my open water scuba course. After some classroom work we jumped right in the pool. It felt so weird taking my first breath underwater. It was an amazing feeling though! After getting the hand of it and figuring out my buoyancy it was an amazing feeling. I can't wait to get out in the ocean with Mandi. The hardest part for me was when we had to take our masks off and swim with no mask. Mandi came back and told me she saw a whale shark out on her dive so we celebrated by splurging on a $6 dinner instead of our usual $3 dinner.
