This is something I've wanted to do for about 15 years now, and I know others have been waiting just as long. But, finally, you can now play as generic offers / NPCs on Dynasty Warriors 3 (Xtreme Legends).

So, this is me playing as Han Sui on the Battle at Tong Gate. Han Sui was always one of my favourite NPCs for some reason - at least one reason was that I thought he was always quite misrepresented on the Dynasty Warriors games.

In real life, although he was acquainted with Cao Cao, he never defected to his side and he never had his arm cut off by Ma Chao etc. That was something that first showed up in the novel - Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which the Dynasty Warriors series bases itself on.

Is the video a little slow? Well, I'm playing it on PCSX2 here, and it's hard to get any game to play 100% perfectly, unless your computer's stats are out of this world. However, it's pretty close here - it only slows down a little at parts due to the sheer number of troops on screen. Also, this is the PAL version, so it's running at 50 FPS, rather than the NTSC's 60 FPS.

Lastly, there are some thank yous to take. Firstly to SickSoAte for creating the original cheat table to play as these characters. Secondly to CharAznable0, as he has not only fixed some scripts on the original table, but added a load of other awesome codes. And to ShadoHitMan for helping me out. :)
