"The summer of 2018 was both the best of times and the worst of times for me. After the birth of my beautiful daughter, the joy of a new life could so easily have been extinguished by the near loss of my wife. This was due to complications which occurred during labour and were only discovered afterwards. For nearly two weeks, my little girl & I hung on to hope - hour by hour, day by day, moment by moment. It was a heartbreaking time, surrounded with the air of uncertainty. Thankfully though, my wife made a dramatic recovery. After two weeks of waiting and wondering, the drive home from hospital was an emotional journey for sure. So...what did we name our daughter? Sophia Hope. This Christmas, I have much to be grateful for. This song is for my family. But it's for every family. Never give up. Dare to have hope. Have a wonderful Christmas."
