The Nike logo design is a symbolic piece of history that was created in the late 60's and pretty much retained it's value every since. A lot of businessmen like to reference this logo because of its low cost. Which is always used to discourage a new logo designer. Basically tricking them out of the price that they have set for themselves. So in this video, I discuss how much the Nike logo cost and how much it would cost today. I also give you a brief history lesson about life in 1969 and introduce you to the minimum wage of that time. Carolyn Davidson and Phil Knight are an amazing pairing when it came to working together. I would love to see more of this kind of client to the designer relationship going forward.
