This is the second day I've worked with this new mink. As you can see his aggression and fear have both decreased, and he is coming along nicely. I named this mink Moⁿchushage ("Bear Claw" in the Omaha Native American Language). He was born April 28th 2012. He was 8 months old and weighed 8.8LBS (3.9 Kg) when I bought him from the mink farm. His name describes 2 different things about him. The "Moⁿchu" (Bear) part of his name describes his immense size, power, and fearlessness. The "Shage" (Claw) part of his name describes his intense and highly aggressive nature, along with my hopes for him to one day become a great hunter.
