Every year, thousands of visitors come to the U.S. Botanic Garden in Washington, D.C. to enjoy the Christmas decorations, holiday plants and model trains. This year, the garden has its largest ever display of toy trains chugging around replicas of historic railroad stations in the United States, all the way from Hawaii to Washington State to Florida. VOA Connect brings together stories of people across the United States and around the world, from a virtual reality brain surgeon ushering in a new age of medicine to a Vietnam War vet connecting to the daughter he never knew. It's a place to meet street artists and high tech innovators, and everyone in between.
