There go a few more flights with dear Люда (Lyuda), my 4th Su-35 airframe :)

These were her flights 4th to 7th, and since we had no clouds for shooting good aerobatic videos I took the chance to practice high alpha and test the Eagle Tree Guardian 2D/3D gyro installed on the thrust vectoring nozzles.

The new motors (stock Freewing ones with 12 blade EDFs) are producing less thrust than expected though and the plane can barely push past the 40-45º AoA sustained flight, as it just falls out of the sky so I will have to consider a power upgrade...

My 3rd Su-35 with the FPV gear (Nadya) is still going, but due to the extra equipment installed on that one, the total weight and resulting center of mass affected negatively the jet's ability to perform certain maneuvers which led me to decide that I needed a separate Su-35 airframe to be able to fly the way I like. (The other will stick to the FPV role and formation flight stuff).

I am also making the first cycles of my new Turnigy Panther Graphene Li-Pos from hobbyking (6S 5000mAh), which surprisingly held up all the flights, barely warming up. (Barely reached 40ºC with 15ºC ambient temperature).

I am planning to deliver a build video of this aircraft on my second channel, so if you are interested in that, subscribe to www.youtube.com/RC4ever and hit the bell button so you don't miss it!!

Regarding my SU-35 setup:

This is a fairly modded Freewing SU-35S. It includes a gyro for the TV nozzles to help perform extreme hover and high alpha maneuvers (Stabilizing functions are only turned on for particular maneuvers).

As for the jet itself, the SU-35S is well known for its supermaneuverability features, that are a result of a good aerodynamic design coupled with the use of thrust vectoring nozzless.

The pilot displays a few post-stall maneuvers using the TV nozzles that would be otherwise impossible to perform with a normal jet aircraft.
