I've angered the old mechanical gods.

I did this by accident and didn't make a video. So I had to go back and figure out what I did that caused this to occur.

First you need to legit travel to Dezolis via the Spaceport. Then while still at the Spaceport enter PAR code FFEC29:56. There are other locations you can try but I find this one works well. You'll be in the black abyss with shop music playing. But if you walk up you should see your party. Keep walking around until you see the basement of the Naura Cake Shop.

Make sure you have walk through walls on. It's Game Genie code: RFPT-J6YE

Now enter the room and turn off the warp code. Otherwise it's nothing but an endless loop every time you go up the stairs. Now exit the ground floor and Aiedo. If you check the teleport list with ryuka or a telepipe you'll see that Dezolis towns are listed. Since you never actually took the Landale back to Motavia the game thinks you are still on Dezolis. And yes, you can teleport back to Dezolis that way. But you can't travel around Motavia that easily now. So you might want to use the Game Genie code that disables random encounters to make things a bit easier.

That would be: AB6A-LA4W

Now just walk to Krup. Using walk through walls you can just go south from Aiedo past Kadary and Mile then go southeast until you see Krup. Now enter the town and head for the schoolhouse. Go to the bookshelf on the left side of the doorway to the back room and examine it's right side. Chaz will read the title of the book "Records of Great Predecessors" and a battle will ensue against three Dominators. This isn't a secret battle and you get nothing special from winning. It's also tough if you are weak or unprepared. Dominators are very difficult enemies, especially three at once. Also, you cannot run from this battle. If you want to do the battle again you may need to leave the town and enter it again. Sometimes after winning this battle all you get is jibberish or other lines of text from the bookshelf.

The book in question is actually found in the Esper Mansion. The game thinks you are on Dezolis after all. I guess it's pulling that battle out of the ether due to some weird technical mumbo jumbo I don't get. The battle looks to be the forced Dominatorx3 battle from Vahal Fort. Which is why you cannot run.

Anyway, this is a weird and fun way to screw with the game. If you examine other things you'll find glitchy or misplaced text. It also works in reverse of you take the Landale to Motavia and use a warp code to get to Dezolis. Maybe there are a few other weird things to discover.

I'm not sure what's up with Wren and Demi's skills. It might have something to do with the custom party hack from BigNailCow. I only used Wren and Demi as placeholders a few times to prevent an empty party game over at certain points in the game. Alys is at level 99. But Wren and Demi are level 78 and 83. I don't know if Alys at 99 is enough to trigger the level 99 glitch with other characters though. She's actually fine at that level for me.
