Print out skin! Spain creates 3D printer to produce human skin

A bio-printer has been created in Spain to produce human skin used for transplants, cosmetics and medicine test, which makes skin one of the first living organs created by bioprinting. Researchers use bioinks containing human plasma, primary human fibroblasts and keratinocytes to create skin with two layers. The research was published in the scientific journal Biofabrication.
