Square keeps owners Ian McCormick and Jesse Kay-Rugen in touch with their business anywhere they go. TRANSCRIPTION: Ian McCormick: Glaze was founded in 2010 in New York City. It was inspired by Seattle-style teriyaki. It’s kind of our street food in Seattle. Jesse Kay-Rugen: We'd known about Square for a long time. We started using it here at our newest location in San Francisco when we opened. After about two months of using it, we decided to then implement it at our other location. We’ve been using it ever since. Jesse Kay-Rugen: Obviously we can't both be at both restaurants at the same time. If we're away from the restaurants, we can pull up and not only see the total sales that day, but I can look at product mixes or sales by hour. It's great for us to feel like we're always in touch with what's going on in our restaurants.
