Weekend Incident: The Class Rep Issue

This past weekend, there was a big stir in the class rep healer Discord. Suffice to say, there was much anger, frustration, and toxicity thrown around. Some of it warranted, some of it not. This event resulted in many end-game players leaving the class rep healer Discord and forming a new Discord (link at the bottom). The short story is that Tasear, the unofficial healer rep, has been ignoring advice and feedback from end-game PvE healers. There are some accusations of bias from Tasear, favoring Sorcerer and Nightblade healers over Wardens and Templars and taking advice and feedback from non-end-game PvE healers to help balance end-game content. Perhaps rightly, many end-game PvE healers grew frustrated and voiced their frustration in various ways; some of it was constructive, others not so much. As a result, Tasear banned end-game healers from the class rep healer Discord, regardless of whether they actually participated in this argument or not. This was when a second Discord was started for end-game PvE healers as another venue for healers to get end-game advice. Tasear then threatened to seek disciplinary action against these healers for copyright infringement and impersonation. This event highlights a few underlying issues with the class rep program. This particular incident highlights the issues with one of the class reps, but there has been some frustration among end-game PvE players regarding class reps and the feedback they are relating to the devs. Hopefully this video will help to bring some clarity to what's happened over the weekend, as well as present an end-game PvE player's views and opinions on the class rep program.
