Salvation is NOT a reward for our "imperfect obedience" but a free gift by God's grace through faith in the gospel/finished work of Christ (death/burial and resurrection of Jesus fulfilling scriptures) BUT we can BUILD on the foundation of Jesus Christ WITH our works...in HIS mercy He still rewards the faithful although we should all serve Him out of love and gratitude and Jesus Himself is the greatest reward of all. THAT is how obedient and disobedient believers are ALL still saved.
