Ken Tanaka is at the 2018 Orvis Guide Rendezvous in Asheville North Carolina. This is the 32nd annual Orvis Guide Rendezvous. Everyone from lodge owners and managers, outfitters, fly shops, fly fishing and wing shooting guides come together for this 2 day event. Seminars, presentations and workshops all designed to help everyone in the industry learn more about Orvis Endorsement, social media, 50/50 campaign, Kick Plastic, rod and tackle product development and conservation. They end the event with the Down the Hatch event which hosts vendors, the Guide Olympics, food, beer and live music. They also debut the Down the Hatch film festival as well. Pete Kutzer along with Hank Patterson was there to MC the event and gave a classic closing statement.
