Jimmie Davis, 11 Sept 1899 - 5 Nov 2000 was 2 time Governor of Louisiana but before he got into politics he recorded some of the greatest country music. A contemporary of Jimmie Rogers, Davis at his best was more earthy & funnier. He started recording in 1930 and this, the B side of Midnight Blues, was recorded for Victor on 26th May 1931. It's one of the best Train Songs I've heard. Upload for fair use and Educational purposes only. Copyright acknowledged.
