The West Somerset Railway held their Spring Steam Gala over two weekends in March 19th & 20th and 24th & 27th, this was in celebration of the 35th Anniversary of the lines re-opening. This four part series shows the last day of the gala, Sunday 27th March. Locos in operation on the Sunday were: - BR 7MT 'Britannia' Class 4-6-2 no.70000 'Britannia' - SR N15 'King Arthur' Class 4-6-0 no.30777 'Sir Lamiel' - GWR 6000 'King' Class 4-6-0 no.6024 'King Edward I' - GWR 2800 Class 2-8-0 no.2807 - GWR 6400 Class 0-6-0PT no.6430 - GWR 5101 'Large Prairie' Class 2-6-2T no.4160 - GWR 4575 'Small Prairie' Class 2-6-2T no.5553 - WSR 'Mogul' 2-6-0 no.9351 - S&DJR Class 7F 2-8-0 no.88 Shots included in this video are: - On board footage from 6024's train, shots included are various shots along the line & passing 70000 at Crowcombe Heathfield - 6024 running round her train at Bishops Lydeard where she would later shunt the empty stock into the sidings.
