This is the Division 5 (D5) Boys race from the 2018 CIF-SS (Southern Section) Cross Country Finals on November 17, 2018 at the Riverside Cross Country Course. The course is 3 miles. The meet crowns the Division title winners (both team and individual) and determines the qualifiers headed to the CIF State meet.

Commentary: St. Margarets easily the best this year with their #5 finishing 27th. Next best team: 47th. SM dominates at State, too. Southern Section goes 1-3-5-6-7 at State. Jackson Adelman, just a soph, is Southern Section Champ and just missed getting the State Champ crown. 7 guys still in it for second going into The Ditch with Shaper and Glantz battling to the line.
