The Upstage English Theatre group of Bern has staged nearly 50 productions since it started life back in 1982 - everything from comedy to classical plays and musicals. Volunteers work for months on end for each production, as actors, directors, production managers, make-up artists, costume designers, set-builders, publicity and front of house people.
