As part of the Infiniti Navigation System, you will be able to search, store and delete preferred locations. The Destination Screen will appear when you push the Destination button. A list of choices will appear on the screen. By touching the preferred type of destination, the next screen will appear. Your choices include:

Searches by street address. In addition to street numbers, the system can use intersections, phone numbers, freeway entrances, and exit points.

Places - using various categories of businesses or locations to determine an address.

An Address Book that finds destinations based on the list of locations you have previously stored.

For a complete list of available settings, please refer to your owner's manual.

To find directions to a specific address for the first time, check to make sure the Navigation System has the correct region.

To specify the region, press the DESTINATION button.

A map will appear on the screen. Touch the region of the country you wish to locate.

To get directions to a specific address, touch Street Address from the list of displayed choices.

You will see a number pad like this. Type in the house number and touch OK.

You will then be asked to enter the street name. Using the keypad, type in the street name and touch LIST.

A series of addresses will appear. Select your destination from the list, by touching the screen. The position of the selected location is displayed in the preview on the right side of the screen.

Please note the Navigation program includes an AutoFill feature. When typing in an address, the system will try to complete the street name or city for you. While this is mostly a convenience feature, you will always want to check that it has made the correct assumption.

The selected location will be displayed on the touch screen. Touch Start to begin calculating a route.

To delete a destination, push the destination button and touch Next Page. Then, touch Delete Destination.

Storing your Home address can be a real-time saver when traveling. The first time you use this feature, you will need to store it in the special home setting.

To designate a home address, press the destination button, and then touch Home. Enter your address and touch Store. The touch screen will display a confirmation.

In addition to receiving route guidance through the display screen, you may also choose to have voice guidance.

On the Control Panel, press SETTING and on the Screen Display, touch Navigation.

Touch GUIDANCE SETTINGS.

Then, touch GUIDANCE VOICE. The indicator light will illuminate when activated. Touch again to turn the guidance voice off.

Once a destination has been successfully set, you may choose to store the searched location in the vehicle's address book for retrieval at another time.

On the display panel, touch "Store Location".

The location is stored in the Address Book. The corresponding icon containing the address is displayed.

To delete a location completely, follow these steps:

Press the DESTINATION button.

On the display screen, touch "Next Page".

Then touch DELETE DESTINATION.

The screen will display a message asking you to confirm the action. Touch YES.

Please remember once deleted they can no longer be retrieved.
