The cast of To Kill a Mockingbird met the press at Sardi's, right across the street from their Broadway home at the Shubert Theatre, to offer some insight into Aaron Sorkin's brand-new stage adaptation of Harper Lee's classic American novel, directed by Bartlett Sher. Jeff Daniels leads the cast as Atticus Finch, alongside Celia Keenan-Bolger (Scout), LaTanya Richardson Jackson (Calpurnia), Gbenga Akinnagbe (Tom Robinson), Stark Sands (Horace Gilmer), and more, who shared details about the dozens of drafts they've gone through along their way to the stage. We also got to hear from Sorkin himself, who explains why he took on the daunting project in the first place, and why his first attempt will never be seen by an audience.
