It is very nice that there is a festival like Flufffest. Hardcore is about fun, but it is also about having an alternative lifestyle. We still see that some society structures are repeated in the hardcore scene, like classism, racism, homo/ transphobia and sexism. We would like to say that we are today in an event that so far hasn't given many space for gender issues. Even though that are bands that talk about it, like anti-corpos, there are still a lot of bands with agressors or people that believe gender issues or feminism are bullshit. we would like to say that whenever you ignore those issues you are ignoring that the person next to you is being oppressed, that this person has issues that deviates from the compulsory heteronormativity. We are having this space now to talk about it but the discussion is not over yet. These issues should be addressed and we need to talk about this stuff so people feel safe to be sharing this space and we can together make hardcore even more inclusive. É muito legal que haja um festival como o Flufffest. HC tem a ver com diversão, mas também com um modo de vida alternativo. Nós ainda vemos algumas estruturas da sociedade presentes na cena HC, como o classismo, o racismo, a homo/transfobia e o sexismo. Gostaríamos de dizer que estamos hoje em um evento que até então não deu muito espaço para questões de gênero. Apesar de haver bandas que lidam com essa temática, como a anti-corpos, ainda há muitas bandas com agressorxs ou pessoas que acreditam que falar sobre questões de gênero ou feminismo é besteira. No entanto, cada vez que vc ignora essas questões, vc está ignorando o fato de que a pessoa ao seu lado tem questões que desviam da heteronormatividade compulsória . Temos esse espaço para falar disso aqui hoje, mas essa discussão não acaba aqui. Essas questões devem ser referidas e temos que falar sobre elas para que as pessoas se sintam seguras de compartilhar esse espaço e juntxs podemos fazer o HC cada vez mais inclusivo.
