UPDATE: You can see the completed rail bus in action on my video titled, "In-ko-pah RR Freight Ride 2014"

10/26/12 -- I'm currently working on a scratch-built Model T railbus for my 1/24th scale In-ko-pah Railroad. The model is not yet finished, but I wanted to test the motor and electronics before going any farther with it. It runs smoothly, both forward and reverse. Top speed is not very fast but acceptable, and is probably pretty accurate for a heavily loaded Model T.

The electronics are from a Losi Micro T r/c car, with a 7.4v battery. I used a 6vdc motor with a 115:1 gearhead. The rear wheels and differential are from a Bachmann RGS railcar. The front wheels are from a Bachmann handcar (same as the pilot wheels on a Bachmann 4-6-0.)
