“China's GDP has grown by 9.5 percent on average over the past 40 years,” said Chinese President Xi Jinping when talking about the country’s reform and opening-up policy. He made the remarks during the keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the 2018 Boao Forum for Asia in south China's Hainan Province on Tuesday.
