Okay so lately I have been wondering about whether I should continue making videos and putting them on youtube cause it seems that people tend to sub to those who jump big and have good horses. Yeah they put work in but...oh i dont know. But ah well, rant over :) This pony seriously means so much to me. I have had him 13 months now and he is just worth his weight in gold for me :) He has never had the home where he has had the chance to learn and to prove his abilities, he was at a dealers for two years just stuck in a field during the time when he should have started his education, and then went onto a home where he just knocked the girls confidence. I then went to see him and after a short break of riding due to tinsel, he really wasn't ideal but I took my chances. And here we are today :) The first 10/11 months were the hardest. Every schooling sessions would be mainly bucking and fustration and my confidence was regularly shattered, it felt the only time he was good was in my lessons. But then something clicked and he began to behave, now we can get through a full half an hour to 45 minutes with around one buck or none and that makes me so proud because now he is showing his potential and has a more permanent home :) So now that the basics are in place we are working on improving his way of going and we will slowly increase the height of the jumps, but I am in no rush, i definately don't want to ruin him, he means so much more to me that the height of any jump or how many rosettes he can win. I love him so much and he truely is my life :)
