Join me in my first playthrough of this classic, fantastic game developed by the now defunct Looking Glass Studios, the brain-children of some of those responsible for titles such as Ultima Underworld, Arx Fatalis and Bioshock.

If you don't know what Thief is, it's a first person stealth game set in a steampunk world, where we play as Garrett, a master thief, trained to perfection by the Keepers, who then decided that he kind of wanted reaches and plunder more than being a Keeper himself.

Thief: The Dark Project was originally released in 1998, and I'm running the Thief Gold edition, which includes the expansion and all the DLC, released a year later.

I'm also using the Tfix 1.22, which unlocks HD resolutions and fixes most bugs in the game.

As I said, this is the first time I'm playing the game, although I'm not new to the series or the genre. Even still, this classifies as a blind playthrough, and I'll be playing on Expert, so please bear with me as I get to grips with the many puzzles and secrets in the game.
