Drobo Gen2 - Adding a HardDrive - DOUBLING my free space! This is a generation 2 Drobo, 4 bays. I purchased this off eBay as a 'broken / for parts' unit. The 4th bay isn't working as of this video, it came that way. I was increasing space from 2.5 terabytes to 3 terabytes. Overall it accepted the new drive and transferred data in under 8 hours - overnight basically.
