My latest vlog on the news that prisoners access to in-cell phones expanded by £10 million scheme to cut re-offending as lord farmer himself states prisoners who have a support network whilst in prison are 39% less likely to re-offend. As a former prisoner i think it's a step in the right direction but what's the point in-cell phones if prisoners can't afford to use them ? Not ever prisoner has a family who can afford to send them money every week as money is tight for every one and to ring a mobile phone from the prison phone is approximately 40p a minute. #InCellTelephones #PrisonPhone #MOJ https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/prison-phones-mobile-cell-violence-crime-smuggling-drugs-reoffending-gauke-a8693481.html
