This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. How can we get back to home cooking, to healthier eating habits? Or, looking farther, how are we going to deal with food scarcity in an overpopulated world? Entrepreneur Emilio Sepulveda shows how 3D printing technology, applied to food, can help solving these problems and providing better eating alternatives to people with a range of diseases. Would it become a common technology in our kitchens?

Emilio Sepulveda is an entrepreneur, co-founder and CEO of Natural Machines, the makers of the first 3D food printer in the world able to create both sweet and savory dishes.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
