It's time for another look at our project 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300TD wagon. It's called the Wombat, and it's getting a new heart. If you've been following along, you know that we're stuffing a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 under the hood of this German grocery getter. We're back at Scared Shiftless, the shop that is undertaking the project, for a look at the car. The engine is in and the transmission has finally been inserted into place. This is all just test fitting at this point, but we're making serious progress now.
