Numbers from Public Safety Canada show that since 2011, and under both Conservative and Liberal governments, more than 20 child killers have been transferred to Indigenous healing lodges. Former Conservative justice minister Peter MacKay says he wishes he knew 10 years ago so the issue could have been addressed sooner.
