"The experience of the mushroom is the experience of this feminine informational matrix that knits everything together." -- Terence McKenna "Psilotransition" is about the transient, transformative state that mushrooms of the Psilocybe genus can induce. Here I've borrowed an audio sample with a quote of Terence McKenna's wisdom. I wrote this tune after I got back home from the Sola Luna Festival which took place at Skotina, near mount Olympus, in August 2002 (see footage at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqImofm0FVw). My mind was still glowing with psychedelic goodness. The usual highly resonant overdriven synths and vowel filters that I love so much, are woven with extra care in this tune.
