I downloaded a trial on Monday because I actually had an editing request for something from a teacher at my mom's school, and all of their clips were in mp4 format. Which...I'd have to convert to use at all in WMM. Disclaimer: I have been working with the same, simple editing program for about two and a half years, and I have never switched programs. So please forgive the poor timing in this; I just am not good with change. O__e I honestly probably could have made a video exactly like (or at least creepily similar to) this in WMM...so it's not fancy. Also, fake motion blur transitions for so much win. Thank you MinsTutorials. ;) I remembered you'd done it, so that was basically the only tutorial I used for this. AND IT WAS GLORIOUS. I figured while I was going against all my principles and changing programs, I might as well vid the most overused and annoying song ever, right? Remember: the program does not define the editor. Ever. Here's what I discovered in the past day I spent making this that I don't know how to do (help is welcome please...with anything...please guys?): Flashes -- not white flashes, but like "composite" sort of flashes? With no color just a momentary increase of brightness? It's hard to explain outside of WMM. In there, it's a transition. Is it here too? Overlays -- I can't seem to find options for anything besides "Multiply Mask" and lowering the opacity. And where do I put them? If I put them on a layer above the video, then where there is not an overlay, my stuff just turns black...? Can you fade to black while transitioning? How do you composite two tracks over each other so you can just basically see them both? There's gotta be a way beyond lowering the opacity. Need some coloring advice/ideas. (Don't have Color Corrector Secondary) I'll need help learning chroma key and crap like that. I don't know what I'm doing at all. HOW DO YOU WORK LAYERSSSS? This is all one layer except the static and the money over the kiss part. I was trying to incorporate as much of the basics as I could in here. So...grrblahhhh. I don't understand this pitch shift interface. I think I pitched this...but I don't know how much or anything. O.o That's all I figured out in this round. I'm sure I'll find more problems later...
